The 12th annual “Coaches vs. Cancer Weekend” (August 23-24, 2013) raised over $742,000 for the American Cancer Society and other local cancer-fighting organizations. Of the total monies raised, over $238,000 will go towards ensuring the children affected by cancer in the Inland Northwest region continue to have the opportunity to attend a summer camp free of charge in 2014 and beyond.
We can not thank the Spokane community enough for their continued support. The sponsors, participants, celebrities, volunteers, and so many others make this event a continued success every year and helped make this year's event the best ever. The support is truly humbling and inspiring.
Since its inception in 2002, Coaches vs. Cancer in Spokane has raised more than $6.7 million, including more than $1.2 million specifically for the children’s summer camp.
